Hey! Thanks for stopping by the page! Let's see....where do I start? Well, I'm a Bronx native (Parkchester; East 177th street on the #6 train) with a Bachelor's degree in Communications (Radio/TV/Film) from Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey.
I feel very fortunate to have made it through college, because for a while, it looked like I'd never get out of there! I lacked direction coming out of high school and actually got thrown out of the first college I attended for poor grades! How was I to know that paying your tuition didn't entitle you to skip any class you wanted? (LOL) Even after getting my priorities straight, it was very difficult to find a school willing to take a chance on me and I was concerned that I may never have an opportunity to pursue my dream of being in radio. Fortunately, I eventually got the opportunity and managed to graduate from Rowan University with honors (my mom wanted me to make sure I mentioned that) and went off to begin my radio career.
I spent close to 5 years working in Georgia and Florida, which I really enjoyed because I LOVE hot weather. What's not to love about anyplace where you can ditch 95% of your winter clothing? :-)
Having said that, there's no place like home and I was very fortunate to get the opportunity to come back to the city and Lite FM in December 2003!
I'm a natural night owl, so working the late shift suits me just fine. When you're up late, you're more than welcome to hang with me all night long and enjoy the best variety in the city!
