Each weeknight Delilah takes your requests, dedications, your messages of love, inspiration, hardships, and a “Delilah’s Dilemma” or two, on the Lite At Nite, here in New York City. This is a safe place to land at the end of the day, where the music does the talking for you. Whether you're seeking friendship, love, forgiveness or just a place to relax and unwind, Delilah is here to smooth off the rough edges of your day, and add a note of peace and serenity to your evenings.
Tonight, please visit 1067litefm.com, keyword: ‘Delilah’ for more information, great photos, and e-mail our show with your stories of hope and inspiration, by contacting Delilah's producer David directly at David@delilah.com. He’ll be sure to get your messages to Delilah to share via the airwaves, all night long!
Last November I stopped by the big Macy's Parade Balloon Inflation on the Upper West Side, by the Museum of Natural History!
I got to share an intimate evening with some very sweet Lite FM Listeners.
We shared stories, shared some good food and got to know eachother.
I joined Helen Little at Wollman Rink for "Skating In Central Park."
What a great day, and such wonderful Winter Scene in NewYork!
Keep warm everyone!
As we start out another day together, I want you to sail into the rest of your week with confidence and motivation. You know why you should do this? Because you are precious. One of a kind! And you were created for a purpose. Relax and know that the one who created you did so for a reason!
Sometimes it’s hard to find that confidence and that motivation because of the disappointments we face. Does it seem like sometimes they add up so often that when it rains disappointment, it pours disappointment until our hope starts to fade away. Well, there is a quote I love to read to people in times of hopelessness that beautifully states how we find our way out…
"So often, we believe that we have come to a place that is void of hope and void of possibilities, only to find that it is in that very hopelessness that allows us to hit bottom, give up our illusion of control, turn it over, and ask for help. Out of the ashes of hopelessness comes the FIRE of our HOPE." ~ Anne Wilson Schaef
If you are finding it tough to sail thru this week because you are feeling hopeless, turn it over and ask for help. Give it up to God. Give your thoughts over to a friend. Give up some control. Remember, you are on this planet for a reason. You are going thru this for a reason. Rise from the ashes of hopelessness because you have purpose and you’re going to find it.
With Love ... Delilah <3
