Each weeknight Delilah takes your requests, dedications, your messages of love, inspiration, hardships, and a “Delilah’s Dilemma” or two, on the Lite At Nite, here in New York City. This is a safe place to land at the end of the day, where the music does the talking for you. Whether you're seeking friendship, love, forgiveness or just a place to relax and unwind, Delilah is here to smooth off the rough edges of your day, and add a note of peace and serenity to your evenings.

Last November I stopped by the big Macy's Parade Balloon Inflation on the Upper West Side, by the Museum of Natural History!
I got to share an intimate evening with some very sweet Lite FM Listeners.
We shared stories, shared some good food and got to know eachother.
I joined Helen Little at Wollman Rink for "Skating In Central Park."
What a great day, and such wonderful Winter Scene in NewYork!
Keep warm everyone!
So…who else is a parent wondering what in the world you are going to do to keep your kids from whining that they’re bored? Maybe you’re looking forward to a summer visit from your grandkids or nieces and nephews and you don’t know quite how
you’re going to entertain them the entire time. Leave it to me, my kids, and some of my brilliant listeners to solve that problem for you…
Find an outdoor splash park and don’t forget to pack the towels.
Stay cool reading new books in the library.
Teach some fun skills to older kids such as sewing, knitting, and cooking.
Buy a big paper roll and roll it out on a hard ground surface whenever the kids need to get messy with paint.
Host a Lego-building contest indoors or outdoors. Let someone else be the judge of all the unique creations.
Look for free concerts in the park, festivals, farmer’s markets and community movie nights.
Build a birdhouse from start to finish with a kit from a garden store.
Assemble, paint and hang it up for your family and feathered friends to admire.
Have a lemonade stand with an adult present at all times. Take the kids to spend their new fortune at the dollar store.
Do something meaningful once a month – volunteer!
Pitch a tent, indoors or out and have a campout. Same goes for a summer picnic with yummy treats.
And my favorite: Assign a chore to be done! The kids typically aren’t bored after that.
We have a trampoline that gets used daily because my kids have bounds energy and they can jump for hours till they tire out. But I’m still thinking someone needs to construct a Velcro wall at my house with Velcro suits that my kids can use to entertain themselves when they get bored with the trampoline.
How are you keeping busy? How are you staying cool? How are you keeping your cool? Call me and let’s swap some ideas: 1-800-222-1067.... or you can e-mail Producer David anytime you like & he will share your messages with me: David@delilah.com.
