Each weeknight Delilah takes your requests, dedications, your messages of love, inspiration, hardships, and a “Delilah’s Dilemma” or two, on the Lite At Nite, here in New York City. This is a safe place to land at the end of the day, where the music does the talking for you. Whether you're seeking friendship, love, forgiveness or just a place to relax and unwind, Delilah is here to smooth off the rough edges of your day, and add a note of peace and serenity to your evenings.
Tonight, please visit 1067litefm.com, keyword: ‘Delilah’ for more information, great photos, and e-mail our show with your stories of hope and inspiration, by contacting Delilah's producer David directly at David@delilah.com. He’ll be sure to get your messages to Delilah to share via the airwaves, all night long!
Last November I stopped by the big Macy's Parade Balloon Inflation on the Upper West Side, by the Museum of Natural History!
I got to share an intimate evening with some very sweet Lite FM Listeners.
We shared stories, shared some good food and got to know eachother.
I joined Helen Little at Wollman Rink for "Skating In Central Park."
What a great day, and such wonderful Winter Scene in NewYork!
Keep warm everyone!
“But friendship is precious, not only in the shade, but in the sunshine of life, and thanks to a benevolent arrangement the greater part of life is sunshine.” ~ Thomas Jefferson
Celebrate summer with your best friends by planning some outdoor fun. As we enjoy more hours of daylight, we get to enjoy a few more hours of entertainment, and I’ve listed a few ideas below to get you Friday Night Girls motivated to gather…
Get fit with your friends and have fun at the same time on a recreational soccer or softball team.
Put together a “grill meal,” a potluck where all dishes must be cooked on the grill.
Get sandal ready and create a mini spa for mani-pedi’s.
Sign up for a weekend 5K walk/run for charity with your best friends.
Arm yourself with s’more ingredients and stories and go on an overnight campout.
Research community gardens in your area and share a plot with your friends that you can regularly visit.
Plan a joint garage sale to clear some clutter, make some money, and then spend it on your next girls’ night.
Plan an activity that is new to all of you such as horseback riding or paragliding.
Do something for the environment such as planting trees or cleaning up a park.
Visit a u-pick berry farm in your area, load up on strawberries, then learn together how to make preserves.
If you dream up your own good idea and put it into action, send a note to Producer David tonight: David@delilah.com ... and have him tell me about it. Or call me up, after 8pm Eastern: 1-800-222-1067!
I would love to hear about your Friday Night Girls and what makes your time with them so special.
Happy Friday, Everyone... With Love ... Delilah <3
