Josh Groban is amazing!!!
I absolutely LOVE Josh Groban. I have all of his CDS and listen to them constantly while I am driving around. I saw him in concert last year in New Jersey and he was incredible - his voice, his personality, his performance - everything was so classy and mature and ahead of his time. I got to shake his hand as he came around into the audience during one of his songs - such a memorable experience! His words speak volumes and his melodies reflect every type of mood possible, and usually uplift me when I am feeling down. My favorite time to listen is alone in the car with the windows up, blasting his songs. He is truly inspiring, and I would LOOOOOOVE the chance to meet him personally.

Josh Groban
I would like to win tickets to see him so that I can actually see him and hear his beautiful voice right in front of me. I had a dream that I saw him in person and then I woke up and I was in my bed and I never saw Josh Groban! I really would like the opportunity to see him as it would surely make my day, my year, and would make everything better for me.......

Thanks for your gift to me, Josh
I don't think I deserve to win these tickets any more than any Josh fan. We Grobanites all love his beautiful voice. We all listen his his songs over and over and over and over again. We have all gone to all of his concerts.
I WANT to be picked though because Josh's sweet voice is my escape. His music takes me to a place far away where I don't have a care in the world. He makes it easier to get through my busy week of work, chores, caring for my elderly Mom, andhelping sick friends. I want to meet the man who has this great power, whose voice can comfort me, whose songs I can listen to endlessly.
I want to meet Josh Groban to thank him for making beautiful music for me and for everyone else who he has given this gift to.

African Connection...
I feel a strong connection with Josh, not only because of the love I have for his music, but also because a few years back I traveled to Bioko,Africa with a study abroad program and fell in love with the people. After attending his concert in July 2007 at Nassau Coliseum, and seeing the beautiful pictures that appeared on the backdrop, I was touched and immediately brought back to one of the most wonderful experiences of my life. I realized that Josh's trip to Africa touched him in the same way it touched me.

Mrs. S.
I will be turning 65 next month and it would be such an honor to meet Josh. I just love his music, voice, songs and looks. They touch my soul. I am so happy to see someone like him as a role model for our young people. It gives me so much hope for the future of our country.
In recent years, there have been very few artists or songs that I can appreciate, but everyone of Josh's songs is so special.
The last, and most personal reason I love Josh is that he has the same style of piano playing as my son who now lives in N.C. He would play piano, my daughter on guitar and we would all join in singing. It's such a wonderful memory. For some reason, Josh's music and songs birng me back to that special time.
It would certainly be the ultimate birthday present to meet Josh Groban and tell him how special he is to my husband and I. I have never had the opportunity to see him in person, it would be such a thrill.

they all know...
My dedication to Josh Groban is almost as big as my dedication to my job. All of my coworkers at Starbucks know how much I love Josh Groban's music. Without being asked, they saved the display from Josh's Christmas album for me and stuck a note that said "DO NOT THROW AWAY...OR ELSE FEEL THE WRATH" on it. In the Josh Groban community...I am known as the Starbucks girl. For several months, I set aside the cups with Josh's name and quote written on them. The 500 (give or take) cups that I've collected have been distributed at Meet and Greets, and donated to charity to raise money for the Josh Groban Foundation. I've even mailed them as far as Australia...just so that Josh's fans there can have them. One last thing...I made a trip to the Seattle concert last summer and gave Josh his own customized Starbucks apron. The crowd went crazy when he put the apron over his head. If that doesn't show dedication to Josh and my job...I don't know the definition anymore.

My Girlfriend the Ultimate Fan
I feel like Josh has become a friend of ours…we visit him as often as we can and support him in all his endeavors.
When a new album is released, she needs to be the first to buy it…even if that means she has to lie to her boss that she needs to go to the post office at lunch when she is really going to the store to get the new AWAKE LIVE CD/DVD.
She is always so proud of how well it came out, loving every song. When he is on a talk/radio show she has to watch/listen to hear him, "He did such a great job". She will stand on line, no matter what the weather conditions, for however long it may be, to hear him sing or just to get a glimpse (again lying to her boss that she is not feeling to well and will need to take the day off but really is standing on some line in NY from 5am)
She is an ultimate fan, always there for Josh during his journey, supporting him and waiting for the next chapter. I would love to see her have an opportunity to meet Josh so that she can tell him how much she loves his work (plus it would be interesting to see what excuse she tells her boss this time).
An ultimate boyfriend

I Am A Grobanite (And So Can You)!
The first time I heard Josh Groban was when he performed at the closing ceremonies of the Olympics. I remember this because he sang The Prayer, a song I had performed that year with my choir in middle school. I was very excited to hear that this song, and very impressed by the young man singing it. I then saw Josh on a few television shows, Rosie O'Donnel being one of them. I was an instant fan!
I attended a charity softball game in the summer of 2005. It was between the ABC Channel 7 News Team and PLJ Radio. They were holding a silent auction for charity and right next to the Elton John tickets were JOSH TICKETS! I was beyond excited and extremely determined to win these tickets, no matter what! Every inning I would get up and make sure that I was the highest bidder. Actually, it was my mom paying, but I was the one writing my name on the paper! When the auction was about to end I watched someone walk up to the Josh tickets and raise the bid. "Oh no!" Then I heard the man say as he walked away "I don't even want these..." I RAN to my mom and BEGGED for the tickets, and she finally gave in. The money was going to charity anyway! So that was my first Josh experience. I went with my mother to see him at PNC Bank Arts Center in July, and it was an incredible show.
My junior year of high school I ventured to New York City (a mere 13 miles from where I live) to see Josh perform on Good Morning America. Unfortunately we couldn't get even a guarantee for stand by positions on line. Bummer, I missed meeting Josh!
Then the Awake CD came out. My freshman year of college. By now my friends are making fun of me for being able to sing along in Italian and knowing the order of all the cd's, but doesn't every Grobanite?? I opened up Barnes and Noble that day-- I was the first costumer to come in and buy Awake.
I attended three performances of the Awake tour (NYC, Philly, and NJ!!!). At the show in my home state Josh walked right past me during In Her Eyes and I lost it! That was the most single exciting moment of my young life.
I now work at the Barnes and Noble where I bought all my Josh cd's. One of my managers is also a HUGE Grobanite, and we often argue over who is the bigger fan =) Over the holidays we played Noel almost nonstop, and after Christmas my manager surprised me by giving me the big display being used to hold all the Noel CD's, saying "To the biggest Josh Groban fan I'll ever meet."

Extremely grateful and caring fan
The ULTIMATE Josh Groban Fan – I hope that you would consider me for this title…
I have been a member of the "Friends of Josh Groban" fan club since 2004.I found out about Josh from my mom who first saw him on a Charlotte Church special. She loved his singing and would mention him to me every chance she got. My mom had a rough time going through multiple rounds of chemotherapy, so for her birthday after the chemo was done, I got 10th row seats for my mom to see Josh sing in person in New Jersey at the end of July 2004.I was hooked ever since…
I own at least one each of every CD and/or DVD Josh has recorded, including many of those on which he was a just a guest performer…
I share Josh’s gifts – his beautiful voice and music – with as many people as I can…by playing songs from his CD for them at work; by giving his CD’s as gifts; I gave his Christmas DVD and/or CD as a gift to at least a dozen people…plus myself!
I almost always wear t-shirts bearing his picture, likeness, fan club info or charity info on weekends or weekdays while shopping, dining, at the doctor’s office, at Josh fan get-togethers, you name it…many people approach me and strike up a conversation about his music, his concerts and the joy they bring…waitresses at our regular restaurants always come to chat with me about the latest things Josh is doing and ask when I had seen him last and did I get to meet him…
I have joyfully attended and participated in 11 concerts during Josh’s tours plus 9 other of Josh’s appearances.Nine of the concerts and five of the appearances I attended were since March 1, 2007…and were in various parts of the U.S. like Philadelphia, Boston, Uncasville CT (2x), New York City (multiple times), San Diego, Las Vegas, Atlantic City & East Rutherford, NJ, Brooklyn, NY (2x)…Since the Las Vegas concert was the night after the San Diego concert, my husband, son and I opted to drive at 4am from San Diego to Las Vegas to enjoy both concerts (I also attended both fan gatherings before the concerts), then flew home to NJ the following day – Easter Sunday…
I have introduced Josh’s music via his concerts by attending Josh concerts with my husband and son (now 14) multiple times, my sister, my sister-in-law, three good friends (individually) and their relatives, and a colleague and her 17 year old daughter…
I had a last minute spare concert ticket – 15th row floor – for the Atlantic City concert, so I went all the way up to the farthest seats in the back and gave the ticket to a very young woman I had previously never met who was a Josh fan.I’ll never forget the smile she had on her face…
I regularly participate in fundraisers for Josh’s foundation.Last year during one of his fundraisers, although I already purchased a 6th row seat for Josh’s Uncasville, CT concert that was scheduled in July, I felt driven and fervently bid for and finally won the auction for a pair of front row seats to the Uncasville concert.I specifically bid for this concert because I intended on surprising another Grobanite who we knew as Beez by sharing the front row seats with her.Beez never had the pleasure of enjoying Josh’s concerts “up close”; she was suffering from stage 4 lung cancer and I wanted her to have the time of her life.I would have loved to have done this for my mother – it would have been her “ultimate” – but unfortunately she had succumbed to the disease eighteen months before.Excited and running on adrenaline, Beez was strong enough to truly enjoy the concert (I prompted her when it was time to go up to the stage in front of Josh while I took pictures of Beez’s experience from my seat) and she had an extra-special evening when she got to meet Josh, thanks to another Grobanite friend and Josh.I gave my 6th row seat to that Grobie friend so that she could be close to share in Beez’s joyful night. The benefits of those memories lasted a long time for Beez, while she flipped through the pictures of that evening along with those in her mind’s eye.
I have always wanted to have the opportunity to spend a few moments with Josh so that I can thank him for all he has done…for my mom, for me, for my family, for Beez and her family to name a few...I don’t think Josh truly realizes how much good he is doing in this world with his singing and performing… I want to thank Josh for his beautiful music, his beautiful voice, his wonderful and fun- loving personality, his wit and his willingness to share it with the world – especially with his fans.He has given strength to many a weary soul with his uplifting songs, and provided many with beautifully sung melodies and lyrics which allowed them to shed pent-up cleansing tears to help them with the healing process.I know now that whenever I see Josh perform live, my mom is right there with me…that connection will always be there for me, and for that I am extremely grateful.

There's no doubt about it...
...my wonderful mom deserves to win this contest. I remember Super bowl Sunday 2004 like it was yesterday. My mom never pays much attention to the game, but suddenly became transfixed by Josh Groban's voice as he began singing. I told her that she should "google" him, and that's where it all begin. With the simple click of a button my mom, and my entire families life started to include Josh Groban. Since then my house has been decorated with countless amounts of Josh Groban memorabilia day after day (many people thought he was my brother, not even joking). I even signed up for "Friends of Josh Groban" with her under the user name "brainjoshed" (get it?!).
I truly believe that my mom should win this contest because she is not just another fan. Yes, my mom has frozen outside in lines for hours, and gone to tons of Josh Groban concerts, and yes we have a cardboard Josh Groban in our basement... but my mom also convinced her boss to start making t-shirts and hats and tote bags for Josh's charities, and she has collected pennies CONSTANTLY for "Grobanites for Africa". For my mom, this is more than just an obsession with an amazing performer. Josh has inspired my mom to do so many wonderful things for other people. My mom listens to Josh Groban all day everyday, in the car to work, at work, in the car home from work, and immediately at home. I can honestly say that without hearing him, many moments in our lives would have been a lot harder to deal with. His music has allowed us to remember times that brought my mom and I so much closer, helped us to remember family members we have lost, and have helped my mom build many new friendships. I truly believe that if my mom won this contest, she would be the happiest person on earth. Many people who have posted say this, but I think they would change their minds if they knew my mom! If I won this contest for her, I would be giving my mom back a tiny sliver of what she's given me for the past 20 years. I know it wouldn't come close to repaying her for everything she's done for me, but it's a start.
I would just like to say that I am definitely one of Josh's ultimate fans, and have been since 2001. I've gone through some really difficult times since then, and I always turn to Josh's music for healing and inspiration. His songs, to me, are like a beautiful waltz between voice and violin. In addition to owning all his CD's & DVD's and having seen him 6 times in concert, being a card-carrying member of his fan club FOJG, I'm a fanatic for anything "Josh". My friends always call/send me "Josh Alerts". I call it passion, they're ready to send me to a twelve -step program! His music inspired me to write the following poem, of which I would like to share only the part of how Josh's music makes me feel. The poem is called, "Oh, Did You Know...":
He has a gift, like a songbird Carrying a rose petal in it's beak Laying it gently down at your feet And gloriously begins to sing
In a single moment His words move me so I cannot speak
He sings of love lost, and love found And sitting still awhile He raises me up to a place Where peace and grace abound
And when he's been on the road so long, and you miss him so Remember that he's playing our songs That touch our souls and leave us breathless
Thank you for sharing your child With his special gift A voice so beautiful Sometimes it hurts to breathe And leaves us adrift in a sea of pearls and roses And lifts us up high On angel's wings One so beautiful when he sings
I have never in my life listened to music that moves me the way Josh's music does...it's like he makes me feel the music...
He is truly a gifted artist, and with all the charity work he and the fan club does for Africa, an all around wonderful person...I am proud to be a member of his fan club...

Just one wish????????????
Hi, My name is Venice and I write to you not only as a Grobanite, but as a mother.... My daughter Kim, is the biggest Josh Groban fan on the East coast. She has two little girls who are Grobanites as well. She had introduction parties to Josh's new albums....we all play JOSHERTY (supposed to be Jeopardy). We answer Josh trivia questions....she even awards special prizes. Josh gave her his drumstick at his concert in MSQ, but that was the closest she came to him. I ask that you extend the invititation to Kim so she can meet Josh and make her lifelong dream come true. and here's the best! She's bring me with her!!!!! Please...........?????????????
Hi! You can ask any of my family or friends, I am the ULTIMATE Josh Groban fan- or GROBANITE! I hold regular "afternoons with Josh Groban at my house, where my friends and I watch Josh's DVDs, and even play JOSHARDY, a game I created involving Josh trivia. I have t-shirts made, give out goodie bags, and buy copies of Josh's latest CDs to give out to attendees.
I always attend Josh's concerts when he is in the area and even got an autograph and drumstick at the last show in New Jersey! I was on cloud 9! Both my daughters, Bianca, age 5 and Gianna, age 3 are also Grobanites. They have been listening to him since they were in the womb! I even insisted on Josh playing while I was in labor and delivery!!! I would LOVE to go to this brunch. It would be an honor to meet such a talented, wonderful person. PLEASE, PLEASE pick me!!!!!

Pick My Daughter....Please
I wasn't going to enter the contest, although I would love to meet Josh. I think he has the voice of an angel. But my daughter entered, and I can't compete against her to meet Josh. She's a wonderful, good-hearted person who would possibly become speechless if she were chosen. So we decided we'd make flash cards for her with questions and answers to show Josh in case her voice left her!!!!! Please, please pick me so my daughter can get to meet Josh.

You know your wife is a Crazed Grobanite and The Ultimate Josh Groban Fan when….
So I could come up with a 100 reasons, but I’ll narrow it down to the Top 10!
10. There isn’t a day that goes by that his music isn’t blastingin the house when I come home from work.
9. She has a JG smiley magnet on her car as well as other Groban stickers.
8. She has a key chain with a photo of Josh on her wallet and people always ask.. oh is that your husband?.... her reply with me there is no, it’s my “boyfriend”…
7. When people say “Josh who” in her presence, She’s like you’re kidding me right and by the end of her conversation they are running out to go get his CD.. It amazes me every time.
6. She somehow convinced her boss to fly her home from a business trip for the day to see Josh in concert. There is nothing that will keep her from seeing Josh, whether is be abroken bone, freezing cold, pouring rain, standing in line all night, driving through the night or flying somewhere…
5. Anytime Josh is mentioned in the house or around my family… naturally it’s about Groban… in fact, family members are now DVR’ing when Josh is on TV in case she missed it…NOT A CHANCE .. of her missing something Josh related.
4. She made me build this beautiful self for our living room(for our photos I thought)… and when it was done she proceed to fill it with Josh stuff… so now I have a shine of Josh in my living room… my wife begs to differ and says it’s just a few autographed items…
3. She has a Josh concert fund.. not a Christmas fund but areal savings account for her Josh travels.
2. My wife has seen Josh Groban at least 30 some times.. to be exact I’d have to look in the box where she keeps all the ticket stubs or lamant pass things.
And The #1 Reason You know your wife is a Crazed Grobanite and The Ultimate Josh Groban Fan when….
SHE HAD TO WAIT TO TRY AND GET PREGNANT TILL HIS LATEST TOUR WAS OVER!!!
So thanks Josh for taking a break from the road so I can have my wife back…LOL
If you pick me not only will I be the Best Husband EVER I will get a pass for life when it comes to helping clean the house!
All Joshing aside my wife Loves Josh and his music is one of the things that makes her so happy! She would be thrilled to get to meet him up close and personal.
Please consider my entry… Loving Husband of a Grobanite!

My Bouncing Baby Girl
Not only am I the ultimate Josh Groban fan, loving him since his appearance on Ally McBeal, but so is my five month old daughter. When I was pregnant, my little girl would kick and bounce inside my belly whenever a Josh Groban song was played. At first I thought it was a coincidence - maybe that glass of orange juice I drank got her grooving - but soon realized that she was swaying to the rhythm of Josh's melodies! Imagine her, not to mention our, glee when my husband and I blasted "Noel" at least once a day this holiday season.
Now that she's here, my husband and I still enjoy spending an evening listening to Josh and watching our baby coo along to his lyrics with a smile on her face. What fun it would be to meet the man who makes my family so happy.

FOR JOSH
My words are few but they are heartfelt and sincere. From the moment I heard Josh Groban's voice, I was touched deep inside and have never been the same. I immediately was changed by his voice and music and there are times in my life when I feel the "need" for him. I am a fan, and forever will be, because he has my respect and admiration for the artist he is and for the happiness he brings me. Josh, I do hope to someday meet you so I can tell you in person what you've done for me.

My friend, the biggest fan!!!!
Hi...
I am actually writing this for a friend of mine. She is definitely the biggest Josh Groban fan. She has attended many of his concerts and has every one of his CDs. When you call her cell phone, you can hear his beautiful voice. She is a Grobanite and has any Josh Groban merchandise she can get her hands on.
The reason I am writing for her is because of her thoughtfulness. She gives Josh's cds as presents because she believes that he will touch others lives as he has touched her own. A few years ago, my husband and I brought our 14 month old daughter home from China. She had been in foster care in China and when she was separated from her foster mother she was very upset. My daughter had a hard time bonding with us. My friend knew this and gave us a Josh CD for us to listen to. The first time I put it on in the car, my daughter had been crying in her car seat. As soon as she heard Josh's voice, she quieted and actually smiled. Because of my friend's thoughtfulness my daughter had relaxed. The bonding process had started and now 2 years later, when my daughter hears Josh's voice she always smiles and can sing along to most of his songs.
This contest is a way for me to say thank you to my friend, Christine for giving us the gift of Josh's voice. She is a true fan because she loves Josh's music and wants to make sure others experience the magic of his voice too...thank you Christine!

Josh, the man, the voice
I am such a huge fan and would love and appreciate an opportunity to meet him. He seems like such a down to earth and funny guy...not to mention that voice. There is not a Josh Groban song that I don't love. The moment I first heard him I thought who is he and how can I hear more. From his first album JOSH GROBAN to AWAKE LIVE I have never been disappointed. His voice is absolute perfection and it has brought me much happiness and gotten me through some tough times. I would love the chance to let him know how his music has helped me in my life.

Father's search for a cardboard Josh
My story goes back to the fall of 2003 when Josh's Closer album had come out and there were displays in many stores of a larger- than-life, 6 ft. standee of Josh along with an attached cardboard shelf piece that held the cd's in the display. Well my father, knowing my love of Josh's music, wanted to surprise me and physically went scouring the city in lower Manhattan to every store he could think of that would have a "cardboard Josh". He found several and asked the store clerks if he could have one of them when the store was done with the display as many of them just throw them out (the horror!). He left his name with the clerks and a few weeks later got a call that the Barnes & Noble store was willing to give him theirs. He went after work and didn't realize how clumsy it would be to actually carry this entire display on the New York subway system all the way home to Queens. He got on a very crowded express #4 train and tried his best to keep Josh safe. :) Trying very hard not to make eye contact with the oogling strangers on the train who were wondering what this grown man was doing with a cardboard standee on a subway train. Well after several train stops he finally met his match when a young man walked up to him and asked him if Josh was his date. LOL That made the entire train car go into hysterics and my father was relieved that he was finally at his stop. He got off the train only to find out that his connecting train to Queens was not working and he needed an alternate train. He took the train to the closest to where we live which happend to be about 2 miles from home. He exited the train and felt the winds kicking up as a storm was approaching the city. The winds picked up, and there he was carrying Josh in the middle of a 50 mph wind storm. Yes, Josh was safe on the subway but the wind almost took his head off. My father finally made it home carrying the Josh standee in pieces as the wind was no match for the cardboard. It was one of the best surprises I had ever gotten and my father went through all this trouble for my love of Josh.

My mom..
For as long as i could remember my mom has been in love with josh. His music, His voice, His personality and the words in his song are in my moms heart and mind all day everday. After hearing his music all day everday for a longgg time now.. she has rubbed it off on me and even my brother. If there is anyone who diserves to meet josh and get the opertunity to sit down and be graced with his presence.. as much as i love him it would have to be my mother. i will never forget the night we were all in the living room playing wii and the phone rang... little did she know when she picked up the phone that she would be given free tickets from the groban website to go see him in a tapeing in new york. I will never ever in my entire life forget the reaction that came from my mother and how quick she and my dad ran upstairs... got dressed and ran out of the house to drive all the way to new york just to see him! My mother lives on the josh groban website and when she isnt on it.. she's listening to his music on her ipod, blasting it in the car or just sitting around talking about him. But i'd have to say, my mom is amazing and i really hope you consider me and my mother for this opertunity.. not just to be the "ultimate fan" but because josh groban has impacted the lives of so many including my mothers and mine. My mother is the most generous, kind hearted woman in the entire world and does so much for everyone and i think if anything could be given back to her it would be the greatest experiance in the world for her to have sat down with josh and for once get to speak with him ( instead of yelling how much she loves him at his concerts lol ). so pleaaaaaseee pick us for what will be the greatest most wonderful & life changing experiance to ever come =)! <3

What is the Ultimate Fan?
I've been thinking about this since I heard of this contest. My bedroom isn't filled with Josh paraphanlia. My desk isn't either. I own everyone of his CD's/DVDs and car plate holder that says I'm a Josh Groban fan.
I support Josh Groban in anyway that I am able. I support his choices, I don't get upset over things said in articles, (He's entitled to a naughty side, aren't we all?) and I could care less if he swears or not. I support his fan's charity and his own Foundation. I'm as involved in them as I can be.
I enjoy seeing the goofy side of him, the playful side, the naughty side, it's a side you hardly see on stage. Josh is such a control freak when it comes to his music, that to me when he does things such as the Panda Sex Song and the Ben Affleck skit, he's letting loose because no one can be "on" all the time or else they will burn out.
I care about Josh Groban as a human being and I worry little about him being an International Superstar. I respect the man he has become since that gangly nerdy kid who stepped in for Andrea Boccelli to sing The Prayer with Celine Dion just about 10 years ago.
This I hope you consider to be the ultimate fan.

Ultimate Fan
Yes, I am one of the fans who found him way back when... he was just a boy, not a man.
A true Grobanite to say the least. ONe of the one's Josh refers to that are "Navy Seals". Josh is more than an artist in my home he's "family". I can not tell you the pride I feel towards him and his accomplishments. I have watched him mature and his instrumentation get so strong.. It is truly amazing.
You don't have enough pages here for me to tell you all the concerts I have been to.... or the hrs. in all kinds of weather I have traveled or waited to get to be a part of just saying hello or getting a signature from him after or before any one of his apperances.
I made a fool of myself in Atlantic City giving him a gift captured and placed on You Tube and now he knows me as Atlantic City Lorraine...AFter his performance with Paul Simon at BAM; captured again for You Tube ,,,,of his asking me if we got married that night in AC... He got me good with that one...for once in my life.. I had no witty come back.
As a human being, I have never heard him belittle or berate anyone or anything. I think he has more decency than any one I have ever known. He would smile and thank someone for something they sent him ...that he probably never saw or received with his schedule rather than hurt their feelings...
His foundation, that I support as much as my finances allow ,,,is spread through out the world in so many different ways. Josh is a person worth all the time and effort I go through to be an active fan of ...It feels much more like, a friendship.
I would love the opportunity to be apart of the meet and greet, Some feel we older fans should move aside for the new ones.... I think that we are the one's who have made it what it is and still keep going. Like energizer bunnies. Still telling everyone about our singer "Josh" and you know ? It is working.

Hello, my name is Brianna Scatorchia and I am a 20 year old college student living in Middletown, NJ. I fell in love with Josh when he first performed at the winter olympics with Charolette Church many years ago. From the first time I heard him sing the prayer I was hooked. This is not the main reason for my love for Josh though. I'm a musican and was very close with my middle school band director, who was like a second father and mentor to me. When I was a freshman in high school, he suddenly past away. I was devastated and didn't know what to do. I would put Josh on to calm me down and when listening to his first self entitled album I heard the song "To Where You Are." It comforted me and made me think of my band director. Whenever I was sad over him I just played the song and it helped. At my sweet sixteen, my sixteenth candle was to my band director, and his wife lit it with Josh's song playing in the background. Also, my dad walked out on my family two years ago, right when Awake came out and the song that got me through that was "Lullaby." I have seen Josh 3 times in concert, own all his CDs, and have a huge poster of him hanging over my bed. I would give anything to meet him in person. He is a musical genuis, seems kind, and his music can always make me smile.
You would make my year by choosing me to meet Josh!!!!!!
I've been a fan for years and don't hide it! I've got framed posters from every one of his studio CDs framing my office walls ...now that's inspiration! :-)
Last year, I chased him 1/2 way across the country to try to meet him! I saw his Awake concert in MSG, Continental Arena and the Excel Engergy Center in St. Paul MN. In Minnesota I waited hours outside to catch a glimpse of the buses and later learned that we didn't stay that night to meet fans. Oh, the disappointment!
I recently took the worst possible seats at BAM to see him with Paul Simon. The worst seats at any venue is worth the trip to get to hear Josh sing just a song or two.
I'd be thrilled to meet him and would cherish the opportunity for years to come. It would be something to tell my grandchildren about (when I have some)...No Kidding!

Amazing Voice
Josh Groban is the most exciting new singer of romance/opera this decade. His voice incorporates a very unique carisma that seems to caress your psyche. When I listen to him singing, I am spiritually refreshed.

The Voice
I absolutely adore Josh's first two CDs and I expected to love Awake too; I like it. I don't love it, at least not yet. It is a definite departure, style-wise, in my opinion. Josh has kept the orchestra but has lost most of the strong piano-driven melodies. Nearly every song has a drum line, whereas on his earlier CDs, maybe one or two had a discernable drum. Josh himself plays drums on one of the songs. Josh also has songwriting credits on more of the songs; David Foster still appears here and there, but is less of a force than on the earlier CDs. There are also some collaborations with guest artists (some successful, some not so much).
Of the 13 songs, 8 are in English this time, and those 8 seem to me to be more "radio friendly" than some of his past work. Of those 8, the collaboration with Five for Fighting's John Ondrasik (February Song) is by far the most likely to be a big hit.
Some - and only some - of the foreign language songs seem to me to be lacking the passion present in earlier CDs. I enjoyed the remake of Romeo and Juliet and the first song, Mai, but the remainder left me feeling flat.
My overall impression of Awake is that Josh is exploring some new sounds and feelings in his music. There really isn't much on Awake that sounds like anything on his previous CDs; the tone is different, the production is different, even the way he uses his voice is different. The feel of the music is much more contemporary top 20, a little jazzy and bluesy, less pop/easy listening and traditional foreign language.
I'm hoping on further listenings that I'll like this more; right now, it just seems a little strange. There's no denying that Josh is gifted; it just feels like something's missing.

Not just the biggest fan in NJ, PA, NY, but also in Germany ?! hmmm
Hello Josh, When I first introduced your songs/music to my friends & family in Germany, nobody had ever heard of you nor seen you on Ally McBeal, as Germany is a little behind in the TV/Show/Music department. When you live as far away from your friends & family as I do, it is wonderful to have your music as sort of a comfort in these hours that you feel lonely. So, am I your biggest fan? I can't say that nor make that assumption, as I am sure that everybody, who is entering this contest is in some way/their own way your biggest fan and would love to meet you. So would I, believe me so would I, but for me it is also really important to say THANK YOU for your music, the lyrics you sing and your wonderful comforting voice. Please don't stop and continue to help me get through these lonely hours without my family and friends who love to listen to your music as well. Danke das es Dich gibt! Alles Liebe fuer Deine weitere Zukunft! Deine Elke

Role Model
My name is Tess, I am 16 years old and there a few reasons why I think I would be a good choice to have brunch with Josh.
I was first introduced to Josh one evening in 4th grade when my mom called from the living room to announce that there was a wonderful boy singer on Ally McBeal. I was raised waking up to his debut album blasting through the house.
Unfortunately, this routine led me to, like a typical teenager, dislike what my parents liked – and that included Josh.
But the tides turned early freshman year after hearing ‘Now or Never’ (I know, a strange choice) off Awake. I loved the electronic influences and the fact that Imogen Heap (= amazing) had a helping hand in the track was awesome as well!
I am a self-proclaimed music addict. Music is everything to me. It’s the air I breathe and the water I drink. When I hear good music for the first time, it electrifies me, it excites me.
Josh’s new album was different from the ones in past (though I loved them just the same at that point), it was more eclectic, branching out to new sounds. I heard Josh was influenced by Paul Simon for the African tracks – I was thrilled! A full Paul Simon collection sits on my dresser, including the yellowing booklet for Graceland. ( I would absolutely love to speak about music with Josh, I could do it for hours, so many bands and songs to discuss!)
In addition to just loving every ounce of music that comes from this man, I also look up to him as my role model. In a world where all adults say “teenagers are being brainwashed by bad artists” etc, I can speak from experience. As a teenager myself, in the heat of all these influences, most of them negative, I can say without question that Josh is the absolute best. His behavior towards all people, his kindness, his generosity for the people of Africa (he inspired my Girl Scout Gold Award project, in which I will be working with a mission in Haiti to help them with a serious lack of supplies) and patience (plus, the sense of humor that so much mirrors my own… a dark one) have taught me enormous amounts about what it means to be a good person. I find myself asking WWJD? What would Josh do? (Funny play on words… I know :P )
And for all that he has taught me about just being a good person, Josh has also unintentionally been a mentor for me musically. I am a young musician. In fact – immediately after this brunch I would be getting into the car and driving 13 hours to Michigan to attend Interlochen Arts Camp for 6 weeks. I play the flute and I worked hard to be accepted at this amazing place, so thrilled to be attending the same camp he did. Josh has spoken in interviews about dedication to your craft and being different. I have taken my favorite, most inspiring quotes (the ones that make me want to practice! haha) and written them on post-it notes and stuck them on my music stand. Josh inspired me to reach for that challenge and meet it head on. Whenever I’m frustrated – I give those a look and I find the passion to move forward.
I have not been to lots of concerts (I’ve been to one – I had to pay for it myself…yeah…) and I am in school and practice all the time, I read about almost everything he does, I’m not there.
But I am the ultimate fan because I see Josh as my goal, my basis for who I want to become in life. I am in love with his music, it’s beautiful, original – but it is just not a love of what he does that makes me love him. He is my hero and my motivation to keep on practicing, to achieve my goals and believe in my future.
Please, pick me.

Why not just "hang out"?
RESPECT.
Respect is what keeps me interested in Josh Groban's music. I, by no means, could be considered the "ultimate" fan - to be honest, how does one really judge such a thing? I own his CDs, I've been to three of his concerts, and I sing his praises to everyone I speak with music with. But I don't do it to label myself as a "grobanite" or compete with others out there. I do it because I want others to gain the respect for him that I have.
Josh Groban is a man who deserves an immense amount of respect from anyone who has the pleasure of meeting him or even knowing of him. We're talking about a man who sacrificed a good portion of his late teens and early-to-mid twenties to pursue his passion of music. I admire his determination and the support that his family gave him in following his dreams. Without a family like that, becoming famous would be worthless.
Josh has a kind heart, as evidence in his charity work and his devotion to his family, friends, and his fans. He collaborates with artists and performs in acts that may be surprising to some, but his true fans have followed him through each amazing collab piece and each silly Jimmy Kimmel bit he takes part in. Josh is REAL and does things by his own volition.
Why would I like to meet Josh? I'd like to meet him because he is one of the few down-to-earth "celebrities" left in this world. He follows his own ambitions in his music and leaves us all in awe every time. If someone had offered a brunch with pretty much any other celebrity, I'd never even think of entering - but with Josh, I know that his personality would allow for friendly conversation and banter, not intimidation or ego-inflation. I'd like to meet him because I know that even though he has millions of people who adore him, not too far under the surface, he's just like me - a normal, twenty-something pursuing their passions. Now THAT is respectable.

Thanks for this opportunity.
First, thanks for offering such an opportunity. As I am sure that I am not the ultimate fan in respect to the dictionary definition of the word, so I doubt that I am the fan you are looking for. However, if I was Josh, I think I would be a bit nervous to be so close to fans who seem "over the top". But, I am a huge fan of his voice and his music (who wouldn't be?).
Given that, this is an awesome opportunity to really meet the "man behind the music". He is just a year older than my son and both are successful in their own chosen careers. I know the drive my son has and can see that in Josh.
It would just be wonderful to sit in an "up close and personal" setting with Josh and listen to what he has to say and get a chance to say "hi" and, most important, to thank him for his song "Awake" which has become a very personal song for me.
The only thing that would make it better, is if Lindy was able to attend. I would love to congratulate her and Jack on a "job well done" and see the pride in her eyes as she looks at her son.
I say now...Congratulations to the winners...have an awesome time. I'm sure it will be an experience to remember forever. Wish I could be there with you.

The Prayer
My wish to meet JG began about 3 years ago. At first it was for my own personal want, but then it took on a different meaning. My neighbor's son Danny Gonzalez was just taking a turn for the worse with a debilitating disease named (NFD for short u can look it up). This little boy became my inspiration. Through excruciating pain, and countless surgeries he finally lost his battle on March 3, 2007, the day before his 17th birthday. Songs like "The Prayer" and "You raise me Up" became anthems. Others like To where You Are and "You're still you" just fit like a glove. I have been trying to raise awareness to this disease and basically, it's hard for one person (along with his parents) to move and get the ball rolling. So my intentions were to try and meet Josh Groban so that he could lend a voice to this disease. I had actually written several times but I do understand that he recieves thousands of letters so naturally I understood if it got "lost" in the shuffle. So as much as I ADORE his music, this goes beyond what I would want for me, but for the memory of my precious wonderful friend who left this world, way too soon.

You Saved My Life
What can I say that hasn't already been said about Josh. My story is perhaps a little different. You see the last few years I have lost a great deal, including my job and my car. I know everyone experiences problems similar to this, but this in combination with every thing else that was going on in my life lead me to the brink. To say I was contemplating my demise is not an exaggeration. This was right at the time that Josh's song, "Don't Give Up" was released. You can't imagine the tears I cried when I first heard that song. Now I am not trying to sound pathetic in hopes of winning on the pity vote, but Josh quite honestly saved my life. Not only because of that song, but because I knew I wanted to be able to see all that Josh accomplishes in the future, which I know will be great things. He truly is one of the few bright lights in my life. So Josh if you read this, I really, really could use that car. As you can imagine, it is a little difficult to find a job without transportation. And of course, the chance to meet wouldn't be so bad either! Oh and one more thing Josh, I would be willing to relocate for a job. Could you use another assistant or maybe even an assistant for your assistant, Samantha? And just in case you are wondering, I will do windows!

You are Loved!!
Josh is loved by so many because of the fact that he can touch so many lives. His lyrics have a way of touching your soul. his songs are very comforting. His albums and lyrcis have help my family and myself cope with the death of a loved one. To where you are came out about the time of his death. This song gave me a reason to reflect onlife and truly remember that he will always be around us. it also gave me a reason to begin to enjoy life again. Although i would love to have brunch with him, i know one person who truly would die to meet him and that is my mother. She loves him so, and although she may bot always understand all the lyrics, because she was not born here she knows the meaning. She truly deserves to meet him.!! So PLEASE PICK HER!!!

Josh Groban Heals
I am not entirely sure if this makes me the Untimate Fan, or Josh Groban the Ultimate Performer. Over a year ago, I was riding the subway home to Brooklyn from New York City. I was feeling a little sick that day, but nothing really major. Or so I thought! While I was on the subway, my entire chest started to close tightly and rapidly. I was having a severe asthma attack. I pulled out my inhaler and took two puffs. Ten minutes later, I used it again, even though the two puffs was the maximum dose. I wasn't getting any relief.
I knew that I had to get to a hospital, but I was all alone and I could not talk and I could not think. In my panic and confusion I did not think to write a note. I should have written a brief note, exited the train and looked for help. Instead, in my panic stricken state, I just stayed on the train, suffering and believing that I was going to die. I very well might have.
I remembered that I had my Josh Groban Closer CD with me. I did not believe that I could concentrate on anything, but I knew that I had to find a way to calm down and focus FAST! I put on the CD and tried to meditate. I was still in agony, but the CD calmed me down enough to focus. I exited the train when I was near a hospital that I was familiar with. I literally made it to safety and Josh Groban played a large role in this.
If I am the Ultimate Fan it is because I have first hand knowledge that Josh Groban's music not only soothes and entertains people, but it can save them when they are on the brink of desperation. This may sould like an exaggeration, but my mother was in very bad shape while she was in the hospital waiting for her Angioplasty. I put the headphones on her ears and let the music of Josh Groban heal her before and after her surgery. I feel that Josh's unique accomplishment CANNOT go unnoticed. I tell my story to anyone who will listen. I have introduced Josh Groban's music to many people. He is healing them as we speak!

Why I should meet Josh
I am a fan because love his music and I sing like Josh (so I am told). I have all his Karaoke songs and I am told I sound like him, so I want to get to sing together with Josh!!! I know every word to practically every song he has made!

You Raise Me Up
Every since the firs time I heard your beautiful voice singing 'To Where You Are', your music has taken me to a place away where I can reflect, dream, and let your voice put me into peace. Your music takes me to a place where I can see my sister and father, who I lost several years ago. I stop and listen to 'To Where You Are', and I can see them both and stop and take a few moments to be with them.
Your romantic songs take me to a place where I find solice in the arms of someone who loves me, and we can dance to the tunes of your love songs. I can feel the arms of the man I love around me, dancing to your beautifu voice singing 'Per Te' and wanting to be with him and only him forever.
When I met you after waiting 3 hours in a NYC bookstore several years ago, when I told you how you have touched my heart and your music takes away all my cares, you smiled ever so softly, and touched my hand, and said 'Thanks'.
I would like to have the chance to meet you again and say, 'No, thanks to you'.

For my Wife
I am submitting this entry for my wife who has loved Josh Groban ever since she first heard him sing the first ime. Don't get me wrong, I am a huge fan as well. It is just that she ventures outside her comfort zone when it come to his music. My wife does not like crowds or concerts yet has not missed any of his concerts when I have been able to get tickets. She owns all of his cd's and a number of hid dvd's. If a song of his comes on the radio or television she comes running and immediately turns up the volume. The ultimate tribute to her love of his music was when she changed our wedding song from what it was to "You raise me up". An opportunity like this would be the experience of a lifetime and a gift I would not be able to top in her eyes.
I wont deny I was definitely a closet Josh Groban fan. My friends would always change the song when it would come up on my ipod. But I still loved his voice from the moment I first heard him sing many years ago. When I entered college I FINALLY found someone who appreciated listening to Josh Groban just as much as I did. My sorority sister Jenna whom I adore and finally I had someone to enjoy listening to his music with. I'm not the type to purchase posters or go to a million concerts. Thats just not me. I think he has an amazing voice that isnt recognized as much in the music world and needs to be. Please pick me!!! Jenna and I would be so grateful!!!!

Hero
When Josh sings In Her Eyes the lyrics are "I am not a hero" but he is my hero. I would love the opportunity to tell him why.

THE MAN BEHIND THE VOICE
I know I should be writing a big long speech as to why I would like to meet Josh Groban but ultimately, it comes down to one thing – I would be honored to meet the man behind the voice. His voice just mesmerized me, immediately, the first time I saw him sing eight years ago.The best part of his career for me is watching him grow as a performer/singer and hearing his voice mature, even better, throughout the years. He definitely outdid himself with the “Awake Live” CD.Since I have yet been able to purchase tickets for one of his concerts, I would love the opportunity to be the one to meet with Josh Groban in person. Thank you.

I'm just me
I can't sit here and tell you that I am the biggest Josh fan ever. Most people try and calim that but who can really be the judge of that? Does having the most Josh memorabilia make you the ultimate fan? Does following him around the globe make you the biggest fan? Running a website or forum? Planning meet & greets or taping every single appearance he makes? If the answer is yes to any of them, then I guess I don't qualify.
I am however a great appreciator of his music, his chairty and and who he seems to be. I will share my first experience of hearing his music with you. I was in Target around the time Closer was released. I heard "You Raise Me Up" and had to figure out who the voice was. It was so powerful and beautiful and it just drew me over to the music section. I looked at the CD and said I wanted it but couldn't that day. So, eventually I went back and got it. Loved it even though I had no idea what he was singing in most of the songs. I played the CD for a bit and then moved on to something else. Around Christmas the following year I believe, I hear the local radio station mention that Josh was going to be having a concert in the area and I told my husband that I wanted to ticket for Christmas. Then Live at the Greek came out and I played it over and over again. I couln't believe how perfect he sounded live. I did get the tickets and was amazed at the concert. It took all that I had not to sit there with my mouth hanging open in amazement. It was the most awsome concert I had ever been to.
I followed up that experience with buying all the cd and dvds available and since then I have been to 2 concerts on the Awake tour. I was just as moved and amazed at the 2 other shows as I was at the first.
I am not one of the people that stand outside the tv studios when he makes an appearance. I am not the person that stands outside a venue looking for the busses. I have never checked out a hotel hoping that was where Josh was going to be but I do wish one day to meet him and tell him how much I appreciate and love his music and maybe actually have a conversation and get to know him as a person. He is a great inspiration and even if I never get the chance to meet him, I will still be fan. His music will forever be a staple on my mp3 player playlist and at Christmas "O Holy Night" on the radio will always make me tell people to shut up so I can hear it and experience the goose bumps like the first time I heard it.
So, in closing I will say that I may not be the "Ultimate Fan" but I am just me.

Voice of an Angel
I’ve been a big fan of Josh Groban since he first appeared on Ally McBeal 8 years ago.He has the voice of an angel which is truly a gift to the world.I have never been so touched by a voice like Josh’s, and I do everything I can to share this gift with everyone that I can! I have bought numerous copies of his CD’s so that I can share with all my co-workers, friends, and family members.I tell other people about Josh as much as I can.I think I have gotten some of my friends hooked on him too, which is great because I can go to Josh’s concerts with them now too!
Josh is such an inspiration through all the good work that he does in his charity (Grobanites for Charity) for people around the world. He especially has a heart for the orphans in Africa, and he always emphasizes that every individual can make a difference. Therefore, I also do my best to contribute to Grobanites for Charity as much as I can.
I can’t imagine a day without Josh's music. His music and voice lift my soul and take me to a place out of this world. This would truly be a dream come true for me and an opportunity of a lifetime if I could meet him in your studio and tell him how much his music has brought joy into and changed my life.

Ultimate GUY Grobanite!
I know a lot of women love Josh Groban, including my wife. But being a guy, I never thought I'd be joining the millions of women (and men) around the world who love Josh Groban.
I normally listen to Pop/Rock music. But Josh's voice on the radio was a very nice, wholesome change compared to the kind of Top 40 music that's playing today. I didn't know how much I appreciated that welcome change, but the more I heard "You Raise Me Up", the more I realized that Josh's pure, classically-trained voice really brings music back to its artistic roots. I'm afraid to admit it, but *gasp* I'm in love with Josh's voice!
The first time I saw Josh in concert was several years ago, when I was in the last row of the orchestra section. Although Josh appeared to be a tiny speck on the other side of the room, all I had to do was close my eyes to enjoy his beautiful voice. I have been hooked ever since and do my best to share his music with everyone around me.
I joined the Josh Groban fan club several years ago and have met so many great Grobanite friends (mostly women, and some men, too!). I appreciate Josh's wholesome image and dedication to charity, which together has encouraged me to contribute to and help promote his Grobanites for Charity. Josh has really brought out the best in me, helped me appreciate beautiful music, and opened up my heart to a whole new world of giving.

Josh, I'm your Biggest Fan
The First time I saw Josh was in 2002 He was on tour with Sarah Brightman and they did sing together "To Where you are" on the La Luna Dvd, I was totally overwhelmed by his voice and his appearance that was for me a Live changing experience. During his career I have been following him on the way to the top,his voice has become more and more beautiful and better through the years.Josh is such a nice, goofy and talented person, He 's staying so down to earth despite his Huge Succes, and He's doing also such great charity. Josh means Everything to me, I'm suffering from a Depression and I do take medication for it, but now and then it's hopeless I did search for help but through out the years, it did get worse When I hear Josh sing,or see him on you tube, there is a part of me that is going to lift up and literally make me at ease again. Josh gives me so much comfort and happyness that I need. I could realy say that Josh is an inspiration for me every day, I am trying to find on the Net every new picture from Josh or another new interview that I can share with other Grobanites. Yes, I am a Huge Grobanite and it's Wonderful, you could say that I'm a Joshaholic and suffer from Grobanites Josh makes my days worth living for, it would mean the world to me to speak and see him , I did meet him one time in Brussels , that was sooo Fantastic but very quick I do need to see him again For being the person that Josh is and His Music Means the World to me My Days ar not filled if I do not Hear or See JOSH!!!!!!!!!

I can't explain the attraction, but its strong....
When i found out about this contest, I thought for a very long time how i could possibly explain my love for Josh. I couldnt come up with the right words to explain it completly without rambling on, but all i know is that every time i'm compelled to pray to God for any reason, I find myself always adding in thank yous for creating Josh, and letting me find him. I always, without expection, no matter what the prayer is about, ask him to one day let me meet him in person. It would be a dream come true! Im actually in awe that this opportunity to meet Josh even came up.
I've done many crazy grobanite things, such as buy rediculosly expensive Josh stuff, endure hours of rain to watch him sing, walked for miles, woke up at crazy hours or completly skipped sleeping , skipped an exam at school (bad idea)BUT i've never been to an actual Josh concert, or been closer than 8 feet from him. I listen to him every day, go on his website and talk to all the other grobanites every day (which is fun),Buy everything he puts out, watch every tv airing, i have many posters, many of which i've gotten from Barnes and Noble displays ( which is really cool), I spread the Josh everywhere i go and i've successfully Grobanized... at least 3 people, ( cuz hes just so wonderfully easy to love). I want to meet him so badly!!!PLEASE! Pretty please!PLEASE! ...< I hope my begging doesnt sound pathetic :)

A MUSICAL TALENT IN PROGRESS
WATCHING JOSH GROW AS AN ARTIST HAS BEEN A THRILL. AS HE DESCRIBES IN MANY INTERVIEWS, HIS VOICE IS HIS INSTRUEMENT. HIS PRODUCERS, LIKE DAVID FOSTER HAVE BEEN SO BENEFICIAL IN CHARTING A PATH THAT HAS ENABLED LISTENERS, GROBANITES, AND REGULAR FANS TO APPRECIATE HIS EXTRAORDINARY VOICE THAT TRULY HAS THE ABILITY TO SOOTHE AND HEAL. THE SONG CHOICES HAVE BEEN PARTICULARLY EFFECTIVE AS MEDICINE FOR THE SOUL. WHEN JOSH WANTED TO CREATE HIS OWN SOUNDS AND VENTURE AWAY FROM "THE SAFE" SONGS HIS FOLLOWERS WERE ACCUSTOMED, I WAS ENTHRALLED WITH HIS BRAVERY TO DO THAT. HIS TALENTS HAVE FAR EXCEEDED "THE SAFE" AND HE'S TAKEN HIS FOLLOWERS ON A JOURNEY OF EXPLORATION OF SO MANY UNIQUE AND RICH MELODIES. LEARNING ABOUT HIS MUSICAL INFLUENCES HAS BEEN SO HONEST AND RISKY. WHEN A FAN HEARS SUCH A TALENT TO SUCH MOVING MELODIES AND WORDS IT'S EASY TO MAKE THE PERSON INTO A "GOD". I PARTICULARLY LIKE THE WORDS HE SINGS AS HE WALKS THROUGH HIS CONCERTS AND CONNECTS WITH HIS FANS, "I AM NOT A HERO, I AM NOT AN ANGLE, I AM JUST A MAN." THROUGH OUR ENTHUSIASM FOR HIS MUSIC, THERE IS A GREAT NEED TO RESPECT THE ARTIST'S PRIVACY. JOSH HAS HAD SUCH A METEORIC RISE; IT'S AMAZING HE HAS BEEN ABLE TO COPE WITH IT ALL. HE'S CONSTANTLY ATTRIBUTING THAT TO HIS VERY SUPPORTIVE FAMILY. HE HAD TO GIVE UP HIS COLLEGE EXPERIENCE AT CARNEGIE MELLON WHERE TYPICAL STUDENTS HAVE A CHANCE TO EXPLORE WITH THEIR PEERS. WHILE THE FAME HAS BEEN AWESOME, HE HAS PAID A DEAR PRICE THAT HIS FANS NEED TO UNDERSTAND. IT'S HIS DEDICATION TO HIS MUSIC, HIS COMMITTMENT TO THE FURTHER DEVELOPMENT TO HIS CREATIVITY IN COLLABORATIONS AND SONG AND LYRIC WRITING THAT IS SO AMAZING. WHEN I HEARD HIM AT BAM, PAUL SIMON'S CONCERT IT WAS EXHILARATING TO HEAR HIM SING BRIDGE OVER TROUBLED WATERS WITH PAUL SIMON, HIS HERO AND TO SING SILENT EYES. I'M WAITING WITH BAITED BREATH TO HEAR HIS HOPE FOR AN ACOUSTIC ALBUM AND HOPEFULLY WILL INCLUDE THOSE SONGS. I'M SO EXCITED TO SEE AND EXPERIENCE HIS EVOLUTION AS A PERFORMER, A SONG WRITER AND A LYRICIST. I ALSO APPRECIATE THE RESPONSIBILITY TO USE HIS VOICE TO EXPOSE HIS FAN BASE TO SUCH UNUSUAL SOUNDS AS ANJELIQUE KIDJO. THE MESSAGE IN THE SONGS PEARLS AND WEEPING THAT ARE ON THE AWAKE DVD/CD ARE SO POWERFUL AND HAVE A HUGE INFLUENCE ON OUR BEHAVIORS ABOUT AFRICA. THEIR EXPOSURE HAS BENEFITTED THE AFRICAN COMMUNITY WITH JOSH'S FOUNDATION IN RAISING MILLIONS OF DOLLARS TO HELP COMMUNITIES WHO ARE HURTING OR REINFORCING HIS STRONG BELIEF IN THE ARTS. BEING AN AMBASSADOR FOR NELSON MANDELA IS A HUGE HONOR AND RESPONSIBILITY WHICH HE HAS TAKEN VERY SERIOUSLY AND HIS ATTENDANCE AT HIS 90TH BIRTHDAY PARTY IS SIGNIFICANT. I AM SO IMPRESSED WITH JOSH TAKING ON A MISSION OF WANTING TO MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE. IT WOULD BE SO EASY TO BE NARSISISTIC AND INDULGENT AS MOST HUGE STARS ARE. IT'S EASY TO SEE WHAT A GREAT JOB HIS PARENTS DID IN RAISING HIM. I WOULD LIKE TO THANK HIM FOR BEING A CITIZEN OF THE WORLD WHO MODELS MAKING OTHERS WANT TO BE BETTER CITIZENS OF THE WORLD. HIS BEING ON LARRY KING SHOW TO SHARE HIS MESSAGE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE TO GET INVOLVED AND "ROCK THE VOTE" WAS SO IMPORTANT. IF I GOT TO MEET JOSH I WOULD WANT TO HEAR ABOUT SOME OF HIS RECENT PROJECTS. HOW DID IT FEEL TO BE ON THE STAGE AGAIN DOING CHESS? WHAT WAS IT LIKE COLLABORATING AND MEETING ONE OF YOUR IDOLS , PAUL SIMON? WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS WITH YOUR AFRICA TOUR AND THE PROGRESS THAT YOUR FOUNDATION HAS AFFECTED IN SEWETO? HOW ARE YOU MANAGING LOSING YOUR PRIVACY TO AN EXPANDED AND INTENSE FAN BASE? WHAT SHOW MUSIC HAVE YOU BEEN LISTENING TO LATELY? YOU WANT TO HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO ACT ONE DAY AND SHARED A THREE MONTH ACTING EXPERIENCE AT CARNEGI MELLON. WILL YOU PLAN TO TAKE ADDITIONAL ACTING LESSONS? YOU HAVE BEEN ABLE TO SEE FIRST HAND THE HUGE IMPACT MUSIC CAN HAVE ON PEOPLE. YOU HAVE BEEN SO RESPONSIBLE IN USING IT'S IMPACT TO HELP PEOPLE. THAT'S INCREDIBLE. I'M SURE MY COMMENTS SEEM VERY CEREBRAL AND
I have all of his music and listen constantlyexcept of course when I am not listening to WLTW.
I really would like the opportunity to see him as it would surely make my day, my year, and would make everything better for me.......
If my girl is not the most EXTREME Fan I Don't know what is, All I here all day ,everyday is....

So please if it is not to late PLEASE pick My girl! It will be a dream come true!
I have always wanted to have the opportunity to spend a few moments with Josh so that I can thank him for all he has done…for my mom, for me, for my family, for Beez and her family to name a few...I don’t think Josh truly realizes how much good he is doing in this world with his singing and performing… I want to thank Josh for his beautiful music, his beautiful voice, his wonderful and fun- loving personality, his wit and his willingness to share it with the world – especially with his fans. He has given strength to many a weary soul with his uplifting songs, and provided many with beautifully sung melodies and lyrics which allowed them to shed pent-up cleansing tears to help them with the healing process. I know now that whenever I see Josh perform live, my mom is right there with me…that connection will always be there for me, and for that I am extremely grateful.I truly believe that my mom should win this contest because she is not just another fan.
He has a gift, like a songbird
Carrying a rose petal in it's beak
Laying it gently down at your feet
And gloriously begins to sing
In a single moment
His words move me so
I cannot speak
He sings of love lost, and love found
And sitting still awhile
He raises me up to a place
Where peace and grace abound
And when he's been on the road so long, and you miss him so
Remember that he's playing our songs
That touch our souls and leave us breathless
Thank you for sharing your child
With his special gift
A voice so beautiful
Sometimes it hurts to breathe
And leaves us adrift in a sea of pearls and roses
And lifts us up high
On angel's wings
One so beautiful when he sings
I have never in my life listened to music that moves me the way Josh's music does...it's like he makes me feel the music...
He is truly a gifted artist, and with all the charity work he and the fan club does for Africa, an all around wonderful person...I am proud to be a member of his fan club...
I always attend Josh's concerts when he is in the area and even got an autograph and drumstick at the last show in New Jersey! I was on cloud 9!
Both my daughters, Bianca, age 5 and Gianna, age 3 are also Grobanites. They have been listening to him since they were in the womb! I even insisted on Josh playing while I was in labor and delivery!!!
I would LOVE to go to this brunch. It would be an honor to meet such a talented, wonderful person. PLEASE, PLEASE pick me!!!!!
Kimberly Palestis!
Wake up to a live version of AWAKE (fromBryant park) set as my alarm wearing a Josh Groban in NYC concert t-shirt. On the hour ride in is the AWAKE LIVE album. When I get to work I have pictures of Josh (and Sweeney)hanging on my cube, including a 1ft by 3 ft poster set behind my computer monitor so that I can look at him while I type. I get my morning coffee in my Josh Groban coffee mug…I eat breakfast and drink the coffee while listening to Josh on my ipod. And thats just the start of my day...I AM AN ULTIMATE JOSH GROBAN FAN…I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to meet him…so I can let Josh know how much his music is part of my life.
I share with total strangers as I purchase yarn, fabric, framers, post office, fedex about Josh's Foundation.

Thank you Josh for being so humble, generous, gracious, and giving
GladyourUJosh aka: Atlantic City Lorraine aka:Lorraine Comfort
It would be something to tell my grandchildren about (when I have some)...No Kidding!
while listening to the radio when out and about
I instanty started freeking out
and began to dance and scream and shout!
I love Josh Groban as everyone knows
from my friends to my doctor to the man who sells clothes
I cherish the moments ive had at his shows
I'm crazy about him i suppose!
How do i love Josh let me count the ways
He bring joy and sunshine to crappy days
Oh Joshio, Joshio wherefore art thou Joshio,
it would be my dream to meet him in studio !!
and Thank You so much for putting him on the radio!
Thank you for your time I hope someone is out there listening to me,It would be nice to be heard LOL, I told my wife about this contest and she SCREAMED and said "If she got to see JOSH she would TATOO 106.7 LITE FM anywhere on her body Of JOSH's Choice!or lite fm's (oh but not my name LOL I thought) Then she ran out the door to buy the new magazine that josh is in with pics of his home! , I am wondering if there is another husband out there who,Has to work overtime to pay for josh's concert tickets,Get the fan club kits, buy The tee shirts,If her ever comes out with a food line I am in big trouble!LOL,This wife of mine can not even go out for a romantic dinner without talking of Josh! When I first introduced your songs/music to my friends & family in Germany, nobody had ever heard of you nor seen you on Ally McBeal, as Germany is a little behind in the TV/Show/Music department.
Deine Elke
A full Paul Simon collection sits on my dresser, including the yellowing booklet forGraceland .
In fact – immediately after this brunch I would be getting into the car and driving 13 hours toMichigan to attend Interlochen Arts Camp for 6 weeks.
Every since the firs time I heard your beautiful voice singing 'To Where You Are', your music has taken me to a place away where I can reflect, dream, and let your voice put me into peace.
Your music takes me to a place where I can see my sister and father, who I lost several years ago. I stop and listen to
'To Where You Are', and I can see them both and stop and take a few moments to be with them.
Your romantic songs take me to a place where I find solice in the arms of someone who loves me, and we can dance to the tunes of your love songs. I can feel the arms of the man I love around me, dancing to your beautifu voice singing 'Per Te' and
wanting to be with him and only him forever.
When I met you after waiting 3 hours in a NYC bookstore several years ago, when I told you how you have touched my heart and your music takes away all my cares, you smiled ever so softly, and touched my hand, and said 'Thanks'.
I would like to have the chance to meet you again and
say, 'No, thanks to you'.
When Josh sings In Her Eyes the lyrics are "I am not a hero" but he is my hero. I would love the opportunity to tell him why.
Thank you.
I’ve been a big fan of Josh Groban since he first appeared on Ally McBeal 8 years ago. He has the voice of an angel which is truly a gift to the world. I have never been so touched by a voice like Josh’s, and I do everything I can to share this gift with everyone that I can! I have bought numerous copies of his CD’s so that I can share with all my co-workers, friends, and family members. I tell other people about Josh as much as I can. I think I have gotten some of my friends hooked on him too, which is great because I can go to Josh’s concerts with them now too!
I normally listen to Pop/Rock music. But Josh's voice on the radio was a very nice, wholesome change compared to the kind of Top 40 music that's playing today. I didn't know how much I appreciated that welcome change, but the more I heard "You Raise Me Up", the more I realized that Josh's pure,
classically-trained voice really brings music back to its artistic roots.
Josh means Everything to me, I'm suffering from a Depression and I do take medication for it, but now and then it's hopeless
I did search for help but through out the years, it did get worse
When I hear Josh sing,or see him on you tube, there is a part of me that is going to lift up and literally make me at ease again.
Josh gives me so much comfort and happyness that I need.
I could realy say that Josh is an inspiration for me every day, I am trying to find on the Net every new picture from Josh or another new interview that I can share with other Grobanites.
Yes, I am a Huge Grobanite and it's Wonderful, you could say that I'm a Joshaholic and suffer from Grobanites
Josh makes my days worth living for, it would mean the world to me to speak and see him , I did meet him one time in Brussels , that was sooo Fantastic but very quick I do need to see him again
For being the person that Josh is and His Music Means the World to me
My Days ar not filled if I do not Hear or See JOSH!!!!!!!!!
