FREE ARTS NYC is a non-profit that brings creative arts experiences, such as painting, drawing and sculpting, to low-income and at-risk children in the city. We talk about their work with executive director Liz Hopfan, and how their mentoring programs bring self-confidence and resiliency to families in need. Volunteer mentors are needed, and no arts experience is required. For more, visit freeartsnyc.org.
