There has been a voluntarily recall on Aunt Jemima's frozen pancakes, waffles, and French toast nationwide due to fears of listeria contamination. The food company initiated the recall after they found presence of Listeria bacteria in their plant environment. Listeria can cause serious or sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy individuals may suffer from short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headaches, stiffness, nausea, and infection. This announcement does not include any dry mixes or syrups by the breakfast food brand. Check your freezer for these products ASAP!
