Billy Joel followed up his New Year's Eve performance at the Barclays Center with his first show of what will be a busy 2014 for The Piano Man. Billy Joel in Concert will see Joel performing a number of dates across North America with 9 shows at the legendary Madison Square Garden.
Joel performed Tuesday night in Florida at the sold out BB&T Center. It sounds like, based on the fans reaction on social media that Joel put on a terrific show.

The critics' reviews from Tuesday night's performance seem to be equally positive. Joel quelled any fears that he would be rusty following his self-imposed sabbatical.
"Joel hammered away gleefully at the popular numbers with a voice that appeared to be in as good a shape as ever, holding up the night's energy over the course of the 23-song set with ease," the Broward Palm Beach Times said.
Joel also pleased at least one reviewer by performing a number of deep cuts in addition to playing his usual hits. "Instead of mailing in a few hours of greatest hits, Joel, clad in his black suit and shirt, treated the enthusiastic crowd to a night of deep tracks," Boca magazine said.
Joel will continue his tour over the next couple weeks with a few more dates in Florida. Then he will be coming back up north for a couple of sold out shows at MSG on Jan. 27 and Feb. 3.
